Question 1

What is the best AI interview assistant?

Accepted Answer

It depends on which trade-off matters to you. If data locality matters, the deciding question is whether a tool can run locally at all — most cannot. If screen-share invisibility matters, it must be a native app rather than a browser tab. If you interview in bursts, unmetered or one-time pricing beats a subscription.

Question 2

Can browser-based interview assistants hide from screen sharing?

Accepted Answer

Not at the operating-system level. Excluding a window from capture requires setContentProtection, an OS API the browser sandbox does not expose to web pages. Only a native desktop application can use it.
