Question 1

What is the TCS NQT?

Accepted Answer

The TCS National Qualifier Test — an assessment covering numerical ability, reasoning, verbal ability and programming. Your score influences which role band you are considered for, so it affects far more than whether you reach the interview.

Question 2

What is asked in the TCS technical round?

Accepted Answer

Fundamentals rather than puzzles: one programming language in depth, OOP, DBMS and SQL, operating systems and networking basics, and detailed questions about your final-year project. Expect to defend your project's design decisions.
